Watercolor for Landscapes I
Course # ART
Monday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Ten weeks starting week of September 14, 2009
The Bell Building – corner of Bell School Road and Spring Brook Road
This class is designed for the student that has little or no experience with watercolor or just wishes to learn
my techniques. Students will learn how to handle watercolor and practice basic textural techniques. A
materials list can be found by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page or by sending an e-mail to me at
sales@tomlindenart.com. For the first class, please bring a full 22" x 30" sheet of watercolor paper, a pencil
and a yardstick.
Watercolor for Landscapes III
Course # ART
Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Ten weeks starting week of September 17, 2009
The Bell Building – corner of Bell School Road and Spring Brook Road
This class is designed for those who have completed my Learning Watercolor for Landscapes I and II
classes. Students will learn how to break-down complex scenes into manageable sections as they create
landscape artwork. We will start by working together to complete a landscape painting. As the class
proceeds, students can work on the class projects or work on their own designs. For the first class, bring
three plain sheets of paper, a pen and several landscape reference photos. A materials list can be found

Watercolor for Landscapes II
Course # ART
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Ten weeks starting week of September 15, 2009
The Bell Building – corner of Bell School Road and Spring Brook Road
This course is for those who have completed my Watercolor for Landscapes I class. The course will be
devoted to ways and methods to paint individual components of the landscape. You will use techniques
revealed in Watercolor I and learn methods for handling subjects such as trees, grasses, flowers, rocks,
skies, water, buildings, etc. We will explore some creative applications of color and learn tricks to correct
failed paintings. For the first class, bring your painting supplies and a few small sheets (7" x 11") of
watercolor paper. A materials list can be obtained by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
